Printing and Production Update!

Happy March!
Phase 01 of the Metroidvania Chronicles was submitted to printing in January we are still waiting on freight shipping for the books to arrive. Keep in mind depending on how crowded docks are that this can take awhile and there isn’t any “tracking” unfortunately. Once it arrives I will post an update and allow backers to updates addresses.
That being said, I do have Phase 02 completely written and have almost finished the formatting. I am working on the Kickstarter page so I can get that ready for launch as I’d like this series to happen more often.

Hello Metroidvania Chronicles Backers!
We're ecstatic to announce that not only have we hit our funding goal, but we've also decided to apply all quality upgrade stretch goals, as we didn't adjust the amounts for this campaign and due to the smaller size the threshold was lower! This journey has been nothing short of incredible, and it's all thanks to each and every one of you. Your support, enthusiasm, and passion for Metroidvania Chronicles have made this dream a reality.
A Quick Look Back: From the moment we launched this campaign, our aim was to create a bookazine that pays homage to the classics while introducing fresh elements to the genre. Your belief in our vision has pushed us forward every step of the way.
What's Next? Everyone who is contributing to the bookazine needs to submit their articles within the next 2-3 weeks so we can then order the print run. I will send each backer the details, email to send the article to, and the deadline.
We will also be doing a backerkit to keep everything connected. Stay tuned for surveys!

Two Weeks Left and Another Cool Project to Check Out

Hey everyone, I'm happy to see everyone excited about the announcement of our amazing slipcase with artwork done by Phil Summers. For those of you who choose the limited tier, you'll also have the opportunity to submit a Metroidvania story for the book, so be sure to prepare something to preserve in the book!
Speaking of amazing, there is another book on Kickstarter that I would like to share. It's called the Game Book Color.
Having already covered the original GameBoy platform in 2023's GameBook: The Unofficial DMG Companion, Paul Murphy is back with a follow-up book, dedicated to the GameBoy Color and revisiting many games from the vast repertoire available. What you get here is pure, unadulterated love for the successor in the GameBoy line.
I preordered Paul's original book and this one looks to be as equally awesome! I preordered a copy myself!

Mid-Campaign Slipcover Art Reveal!

Good Evening Backers!
As promised, we have a special treat for you. The amazingly talented Phil Summers, known for his Hand-Drawn Game Guides, has done an amazing art piece for our Limited Edition Slipcases that showcases the games that are featured in Phase 1 of the Metroidvania Chronicles!
The bottom is left black to show contrast.
The art will also go over the spine of the slipcase, not shown in the mock-ups.
By request, I have also created an add-on tier so backers can add an extra copy of the book with the slipcase. (I cannot just add the slipcase by itself as the books will be shipped inside the slipcase during production and not be produced individually so it has to be sold together.)
