We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you all. The advanced copy of our highly anticipated hardcover book, Metroidvania Chronicles, has finally arrived! The book looks absolutely stunning, and we couldn’t be happier with the quality. From the high-resolution artwork to the meticulous details in every section, it truly captures the essence of the Metroidvania genre.
The main book shipment is currently on a freighter and we should have an update once it clears customs any day now! Once it arrives in the warehouse, I will send out address reminders and shipping to backers will begin!
But that’s not all – we’re gearing up for the launch of our Phase 02 Kickstarter campaign! Here’s what you can look forward to:

Happy April!
Last month after posting the update, I was told the books actually weren't on a freighter. I also found an error and had to resubmit the files, which paused the shipping. Things are underway now and shoudl be arriving soon. I was hoping to have my advanced copy to show off, which is why I'm posting this update mid-April, but I have to wait a bit more before it arrives.
Once things arrive I will post an update and get the surveys and addresses. Throughout this whole process, please email me if you have an questions or concerns at thesubcon3 at gmail dot com.
Phase 02 of the Book Series is completely finished and I will be launching that project shortly in order to not have a huge amount of time between volumes. That way we can keep the series going!

Phase 01 of the Metroidvania Chronicles was submitted to printing in January we are still waiting on freight shipping for the books to arrive. Keep in mind depending on how crowded docks are that this can take awhile and there isn’t any “tracking” unfortunately. Once it arrives I will post an update and allow backers to updates addresses.
That being said, I do have Phase 02 completely written and have almost finished the formatting. I am working on the Kickstarter page so I can get that ready for launch as I’d like this series to happen more often.

Hello Metroidvania Chronicles Backers!
We're ecstatic to announce that not only have we hit our funding goal, but we've also decided to apply all quality upgrade stretch goals, as we didn't adjust the amounts for this campaign and due to the smaller size the threshold was lower! This journey has been nothing short of incredible, and it's all thanks to each and every one of you. Your support, enthusiasm, and passion for Metroidvania Chronicles have made this dream a reality.
A Quick Look Back: From the moment we launched this campaign, our aim was to create a bookazine that pays homage to the classics while introducing fresh elements to the genre. Your belief in our vision has pushed us forward every step of the way.
What's Next? Everyone who is contributing to the bookazine needs to submit their articles within the next 2-3 weeks so we can then order the print run. I will send each backer the details, email to send the article to, and the deadline.
We will also be doing a backerkit to keep everything connected. Stay tuned for surveys!
